Description

WR-134 is a Wolf-Rayet star and associated bubble in the region of the Crescent and Tulip Nebulas in Cygnus.  The bubble is formed by a star that is about 5 times the size of our sun, but because it is so hot and violent it is 400,000 times brighter.  Wear your sunscreen when nearby.

The bubble is approximately 130 light years in diameter, and about 5,000 light years away.

This is a section of one panel of my recent Tulip Nebula mosaic with additional OIII added.

Total is 2 h Ha; 6 h OIII
Shot with an ASI 1600MM Pro, Astrodon 3nm filters, and an AT80EDT
